The most amusing and chaotic day that Thurlow Playhouse has had to date, in its already dramatic history begins.

The roof is leaking; the director for the amateur production of Oklahoma, is demanding real horses on stage; the theatre’s fast running out of money; the manager’s got in early and no one is ready; oh and the Arts Council has sent an agent to see if Thurlow Playhouse deserves a grant.

What else could go wrong for Alec Partridge, manager of Thurlow playhouse ?

"This fascinating look behind the scenes in a Theatre Manager's office made a rollicking comedy.."East Kent Mercury.
